2008 NRA APPROVED 2700 CONVENTIONAL PISTOL PROGRAM

All Matches start at 9:00 a.m.

4th Saturday of the Month

22 Mar, 26 Apr, 24 May, 28 June, and 25 Oct.

DATES and TIMES: Matches begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. Competitors should arrive no later than 08:30 to set up and complete registration.

RANGE FACILITIES: Pistol competitions are held at the NWTF&S Pistol/Light Rifle Marksmanship Range, The range has a covered firing line with 34 firing points, wind breaks, and turning targets. Entries will be limited to one relay of 34.

The range has a full club house and area for breaks and eating (must bring own lunch). Drinks are available. There are men & women’s indoor restrooms.

RULES: All matches are governed by the NRA Conventional Pistol Competition rules and classification system.

CATEGORIES: All Competitors will compete as civilians.

ENTRY FEES: Entry fee is - One Gun $10.00

Two Guns $16.00

All Matches $20.00

4-H and NRA Juniors (may shoot a 22 - 2700) $4.50

AWARDS: NRA Award Points or Cash awards will be given for each match (No cash awards to Juniors).

High Shooter will Receive Tournament Winner Award and NWTFS Lucky Bucks.

3-4 Competitors 1st Place in Class

5-9 Competitors 2nd Place in Class

10-13 Competitors 3rd Place in Class

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: EYE and EAR PROTECTION

Range is restricted to 22 standard velocity lead cartridges only and CF/45 lead target loads (CCI, Remington and Federal 22 Match Ammo for sale at range).

DIRECTIONS: The NWTF&S Marksmanship Range, 4472 Old Friberg Road, WF TX, 76306-3935, is located north east of Wichita Falls. From Wichita Falls drive east on FM 171 (Airport Rd.) past the entry to the Municipal Airport and turn left onto Emmert Road (aprox 2 miles). From Emmert Rd. turn right (only choice) on Old Friberg Rd (aprox 1 mile). The range is approximately 1/4 mile on the right. Competition Range is East, up the hill as you enter.
