About the Range
The Shotgun Division ranges are located on the east side of the club property. Our gate is located one quarter of a mile north of Sorghum Mill Road on Hiwassee Road on the left. We have 5 skeet fields, two of which overlay trap fields. Other facilities we offer include: a hand-trap where you can bring your own targets and throw them from the manual trap, a pattern board to test your loads, a clubhouse with 2 restrooms and kitchen, a large pavilion, a smaller building with 2 restrooms with showers, and 18 camper spaces with electricity and water hookups.
Skeet fields 1, 3, 4, and 5 and trap fields 1 and 2 are honors fields and may be used by members out of our regular hours. Before a member may use the honors field he/she must be a member of the OKCGC for at least 6 months and attend a 3-part orientation to become familiar with the safe and proper use of the equipment and other procedures relevant to the skeet and trap ranges. For more information regarding becoming honor’s field certified, please click on the “Honor’s Field Process” button. The honors fields and hand-trap will be closed during matches and leagues.
Normal Range Hours
Our open shooting hours with a range master present are Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. until noon. The Shotgun ranges are only open to members and guests; except during registered matches, leagues, and fun shoots when non-members may compete.
