This 90minute course is for anyone who would like to learn the fundamentals of picking a handgun for personal protection or sport shooting. The course will cover firearm safety, reasons to own a handgun, types of handguns, items to consider in obtaining a handgun, and other accessories to consider. After completion of the course, the knowledge will help the student in making an informed decision prior to picking and obtaining their first handgun. There is no fee for this course and is open to both members and non-club members.

The course does NOT include live fire training, but students will have the chance to handle, dry-fire and manipulate various handguns.

This course is limited to 10 students.

Cost: $0, Free.  

Pre-Registration is required.  There will also be a waiting list available for class slots.
